Looking for variety and an opportunity to support innovative projects? We have an immediate opening for a Metrology Manager to oversee Quality & Vendor Managed Services for the site.

The individual is responsible for records review and approvals, both digitally and wet signed. Will also be responsible for assuring technicians training is up to date, deviation submittals for OPT/OOT conditions, making SOP updates as process gaps are identified, and assisting in vendor send out and on-site calibrations.

  • Record Approvals...
    • Approvals of master calibration records in CMX/SAP after thorough induction work order review is completed.
  • Training, SOP revisions...
    • Ensure 100% on-time training completion in CornerStone SBX of all technicians and OSPs.
  • On-site/Send-out Calibration Management...
    • Assist in scheduling of send-out and on-site calibrations.
  • Support...
    • Assist less experienced technicians with complex calibrations.
  • Team Collaboration...
    • Work closely with a team of metrology technicians and managers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • GxP and Non-GxP Operations...
    • Ensure calibration management systems support both GxP and Non-GxP operations.
  • Sustainability Improvements...
    • Identify and implement sustainability initiatives to improve energy efficiency and reduce environmental impact.
  • Continuous Improvement...
    • Find ways to improve work flows and improve calibration metrics to 0% OPT/OOTs
  • Training and Development...
    • Participate in training programs for junior level technicians to ensure business continuity
  • Vendor Management...
    • Assist in managing relationships with suppliers and vendors, including negotiating contracts and service agreements.
  • Documentation and Reporting...
    • Maintain detailed documentation of system designs, configurations, and maintenance activities.

You'll be a perfect fit if you have:
  • Five years or more of related experience in similar industries.
  • Associates degree in Engineering or similar discipline.
  • Extensive experience with pharmaceutical systems, industrial utilities, process equipment, refrigeration equipment, GxP, HVAC, general construction practices, maintenance software, building management systems.
  • Experience with SAP.
