BAE Systems Countermeasures and Electromagnetic Attack Solutions (CEMA) business area is seeking a Manager I in the Advanced Compact Electronics Warfare (ACES) product line. This Manager will lead our Program Quality Engineers on production programs in New Hampshire and Texas. Oversight shall include, but not limited to, quality assurance, continuous process improvement, and lifecycle management. This role requires a mindset that incorporates the foresight of mistake proofed solutions when reviewing processes but also through the incorporation of effective corrective actions while using quality science tools via 8D methodology. They will help integrate AS9145 for key products utilizing FMEA, Control Plans, Capability Studies, and MSA. Additionally, they will work closely with the Customer, Program Management offices & Supplier Quality Teams along with other critical functions to provide world class program execution.
Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between primarily working onsite and some remote and travel.

Required Skills and Education
- Bachelor's Degree and 6-8+ years work experience or 8-12+ years of experience in lieu of degree
- Strong and Demonstrated Communication Skills (written, verbal, visual) and interpersonal skills (listening and communicating within a group/team/geographically diverse environment).
- Enjoys working with and coaching Quality professionals and other cross-functional team members to continuously improve execution success
- Strong understanding of Quality Science tools (APQP/PPAP, 8D RCCA, Statistical Process Controls, Lean Six Sigma, Auditing)
- Self-starting problem solver with a fact based focus on continuous improvement, and a demonstrated history of leadership
Preferred Skills and Education
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt Certified
- Active Secret or higher clearances
- Defense industry standards (AS9100, AS9102 and AS9145)
