You'll be joining a multidisciplinary team of product managers, marketers, designers, and engineers who research and innovate on the latest technology to create awesome digital products that millions of people will experience every day. The position is located in Irving, TX (part of the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex) and requires being on-site 5 days a week.
In this position, you will be expected to do both manual and automation testing. At times there will be more need for one or the other and you are expected to do whichever is needed. You will be responsible for testing the systems that improve customer experience, enable innovative user experiences, and increase store revenue. From testing an experimental machine learning prototype to a system with a production-ready backend, testers at [Company] take many hats to see projects to completion.

Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual testing, including functional, regression, smoke, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust automated test suites using WebdriverIO or Cypress.
- Leverage TypeScript to write efficient, reliable, and scalable test automation scripts.
- Implement test design patterns such as Page Object Model (POM) to enhance test maintainability.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous integration and delivery practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Analyze complex software systems to identify testing requirements and potential quality issues.
- Design, write, and execute detailed test cases across all functional areas of the application.
- Identify, log, and track defects in JIRA.
- Work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the product meets quality standards.
- Keep all test documentation up to date, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
- Contribute to continuous improvement in the testing process by identifying opportunities for efficiency and effectiveness.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospective meetings.
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge in testing frameworks
- Understanding of JavaScript and TypeScript (at least one of these)
- Experience with mobile test automation
- 2+ years experience in software quality assurance testing or a Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
- Demonstrate strong attention to detail, analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and written communication skills
- Experience in various types of manual testing such as functional, regression, smoke, integration, and exploratory testing.
- Ability to create detailed and functional test cases using Zephyr Scale or similar tools.
- Ability to isolate and document defects as well as participate in or lead root cause analysis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment within a team and independently on multiple efforts and deliverables.
- Comfortable testing on web, Android, iOS, and headless applications
Preferred Qualifications:
- Test automation experience with Appium, WebdriverIO, Cypress (at least one of these).
- Familiarity with React Native (nice to have)
- Understanding of how CI/CD works and experience with Jenkins and similar tools
- Comfortable using Git for version control
- Basic knowledge and being able to navigate cloud-based systems like AWS/Azure
- Understanding of web technologies like HTML, CSS, and RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of SQL & NoSQL DBs and ability to run queries to verify results.
- Certifications like ISTQB
