Indian Prairie School District 204, located in Naperville and Aurora, Illinois, is seeking an outstanding educational leader who will help us achieve our mission of inspiring all students to achieve their greatest potential. This is a full-time position starting July 1, 2025. The work calendar is a 12 month calendar.

Job Summary:
Perform functions to supervise students, staff and daily operations of Middle School in order to create a positive and safe learning environment.

1. Respond to staff, student or parental issues, concerns and problems providing guidance on school policy, mediating and resolving conflict and developing and implementing behavioral interventions as needed.
2. Design and implement school improvement plan and ensure action plan carried out by teachers.
3. Observe and evaluate performance of certified staff. Conduct goal-setting meetings.
4. Participate in the hiring process for classified and certified staff.
5. Investigate student behavioral problems, document findings and assign disciplinary consequences as needed.
6. Participate in special education meetings with staff, students and parents.
7. Assign students to academic teams. Participate in the development of master schedule.
8. Plan and supervise teacher duty schedules.
9. Supervise student services staff and programs such as standardized testing.
10. Plan and manage assigned programs such as recognition or fundraising, or assigned events such as graduation, field trips or school assemblies.
11. Participate in leadership team, plan and facilitate faculty meeting agendas.
12. Participate in various District-wide committees or initiatives representing the building and implementing action plans.
13. Oversee building administration and operational needs such as maintenance/housekeeping, key assignments, locker distribution or room rentals.
14. Gather, tabulate and verify statistics for state and federal reporting.
15. Plan, organize and facilitate annual new student orientation.
16. Coordinate student transportation, resolve problems and ensure compliance with safety guidelines.

Responsible to supervise Middle School employees. Assign and review work, train, assist employees and eliminate ordinary difficulties.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Qualified candidate must have a valid Illinois Professional Educator License with an Administrative or Principal endorsement. Knowledge of middle school level management is necessary. Master's degree in Education including coursework in Education required. Four to five years of teaching and/or administrative experience is preferred.

Rate of pay: Starting rate of pay is $111-795 - $143,811
