Essential Job Functions:
- Develop, plan, and implement lesson plans and interactive assignments that align with the Core curriculum, as well as the school's mission, goals, and values
- Guide and support students in using learning materials and technology effectively
- Foster students' creative and analytical thinking to enhance their learning experience
- Possess a strong command of subject matter knowledge and effective pedagogical methods
- Work collaboratively with the Core teaching team while also demonstrating the ability to work independently
- Create a stimulating, organized, and inclusive learning environment that supports a diverse range of learning styles
- Continuously develop, adapt, and update the curriculum to meet the evolving needs of students
- Use a variety of assessment styles to evaluate student progress and engagement

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree (BA) required; Master's degree (MA) preferred
- Experience: 3-5+ years of Middle School teaching experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain positive and professional relationships with students, parents, staff, and faculty
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in integrating technology into the classroom to enhance student learning
