01/21/2025The Parkway School District Department of Human Resources is currently accepting applications for the position of Principal of Central Middle School for the 2025-2026 school year.

Successful candidates must possess strong administrative and instructional leadership skills as well as demonstrate excellent skills in written and verbal communications. The Principal has major responsibilities in the following areas:

• Promoting educational equity and social justice
• Focusing on the character development of students
• Supervising classroom instruction, curriculum implementation, and student assessment
• Supporting the work of professional learning communities
• Facilitating restorative practices with students, staff, and families
• Analyzing student assessment data and implementing school improvement plans
• Selecting, developing, and evaluating teachers
• Involving the community in building a student-centered school climate
• Developing relationships among students, staff, and the broader community
• Cultivates an environment that supports cultural diversity, equity, staff engagement, and teamwork

In addition, the candidate should possess excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills and enjoy working with students, staff, and parents. Specific job responsibilities will be determined based on the candidate's skills, abilities, and specific school requirements.

Minimum Salary: $119,525
12-month working contract

Applicants must possess a Missouri Secondary Principal's Certificate. Successful experience in administration is desirable.
