Job Summary:
This position assists the CG-444 Office of Configuration Management customer in planning development, support, and providing advisory services and contributions across complex and multifaceted Configuration Management efforts to include strategy development as well as professional or policy areas of Coast Guard/DHS applications. Investigate and/or identify business, scientific, technology, engineering, operational, professional and/or policy issues. Conduct analysis of identified shortcomings and issues providing solutions/advice that remedy gaps or improve business processes in support of major programs/projects. Ensure successful task completion within the scheduled timeframe, consistent with the established scope of work to include technical, doctrine and policy solutions. Capture and document critical business systems and operational processes flows to comport with implementation of the USCG Mission Support Business Model. Develop project plans and milestones, status reports and other deliverables, and monitor the execution of all tasks for quality and timeliness.
Education and Experience Qualifications:
Experience/Education:
Additionally, candidates will possess four (4) years' experience in business, business analytics, marketing, or a related field, and working knowledge in at least four (4) of the following areas:
Competitive applicants for Mid-Grade Analyst should have four (4) years' experience with logistics and integrated logistics IT system procedures/applications.
Preferred Experience:
It is also highly desired that the Mid-Grade Analyst have Coast Guard/DHS experience and hold a bachelor's degree and/or Industry-recognized certification in one of the following disciplines:

Essential Duties:
- Define enterprise logistics IT system configuration specifications & business analysis requirements.
- Knowledge of life cycle logistics, supply chain management, logistics engineering, or similar specialty area
- Analyze and evaluate IT and electronic data operations in support of business case analysis.
- Information/data analysis of current logistics computer hardware/software systems
- Specify, develop, and validate business reports.
- Archive Program functional documents and information.
- Proficiency, and practical experience using MS Power Point, Excel and Word.
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:
- Independently lead and manage projects and tasks for government customer.
- Experience in IT management with emphasis on integrated logistics systems.
- Strong skills across MS365 suite of tools.
- Strong ability to diagnose, identify and fix problems through discussions with technical and functional teams.
- Experience with receipt, accountability, and inventory management of various types of property, equipment, and spare parts
