Mid-Level Front End Developer

Expertise in basic web development languages is a must, as well as facility with modern client-side MVC web development stack technologies, and possessing the ability to use an object-oriented programming languages, and scripting languages.

Required Qualifications:

• Experienced front-end engineer with 4-6 years of hands-on experience
• Javascript, HTML5
• Angular, Ember, React, or Node
• Java or C++
• Python or Perl
• Unix or Linux systems
• Understanding of opensource development processes, as well as Distributed Systems and Systems Programming
• Git, JIRA, ServiceNow

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with AWS, Presto, Screwdriver, RDBMS, Hadoop ecosystem (Oozie, Pig, Hive, Spark, HBase), shell scripting, Jetty (web services), CSS

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of any one of the following is a plus: redis, Storm, Kafka, Splunk, Druid, Vertica, Looker, Jenkins, Groovy, Scala, REST APIs, Jersey and JAX-RS, Maven, Oracle Database, NoSQL databases, geospatial data, Cassandra, Postgres, Sadana, Vespa, Sherpa, Elasticsearch, Avro, Talon, MapReduce, Azkaban, Luigi, Airflow, Spark Streaming
