We are Lockheed Martin
The F-22 Combined Test Force at Edwards AFB, CA is seeking a Mission Plan Engineer to support the F-22 flight test program. This position will work with military, contractor and civil service personnel as part of the flight test team. The selected candidate will:
Plan, collaborate, generate, and process Pilot DTC with mission-critical elements including weaponry and targeting, electronics and tactics, CNI, controls and displays, and embedded training required per sortie / ground operation.
Install / maintain currency of Mission Support Environment to support each jet configuration at CTF as well as fleet released OFPs.
Investigate / troubleshoot / resolve mission plan related issues.
A level 2 employee Typically has 2 - 5 years of professional experience.
**Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.**

Basic Qualifications
B.S. in a STEM field from an accredited college in a related discipline or equivalent military experience
Active DOD Secret security clearance
Desired skills
Previous experience with mission planning software on a tactical aircraft platform
Experience handling COMSEC information
Current Security+ Certification
Willingness and ability to work extended hours, odd/off-shifts and weekends as needed

Work Schedule Information

Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $70,100 - $123,625. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
