This role involves both technical and functional aspects of the Model N Flex platform, ensuring it supports our business goals and objectives effectively.
Primary Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document business processes, pain points, and objectives.
- Translate business requirements into clear and actionable technical specifications for the Model N Flex platform.
- Conduct gap analysis and identify areas for optimization or enhancements in the Model N Flex system.
- Work on the configuration and customization of Model N Flex to meet specific business needs.
- Configure pricing models, revenue management workflows, and order-to-cash processes within Model N Flex.
- Implement complex functionality, ensuring integration with existing systems and data flows.
- Create test cases and execute testing for new configurations, customizations, and enhancements to ensure they meet business requirements.
- Coordinate with business users for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and ensure that Model N Flex applications are running smoothly.
- Address and resolve any system defects or issues raised during testing.
- Provide ongoing support for Model N Flex applications, ensuring high availability and optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to configuration, integration, and system performance.
- Collaborate with technical teams to address and fix system bugs or technical challenges.
- Work closely with IT, business users, and third-party vendors to implement new features and integrations.
- Provide training and support to business users to ensure effective utilization of Model N Flex.
- Coordinate with other teams (e.g., finance, sales, and operations) to ensure seamless business process integration.
- Monitor and analyze the performance of the Model N Flex platform and suggest improvements or optimizations.
- Keep up to date with the latest releases and updates in Model N Flex and ensure that the system remains aligned with industry best practices.
- Lead initiatives to streamline workflows, enhance system efficiency, and improve user experience.
Education and Experience
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with Model N Flex, with hands-on experience in configuration, customization, and support.
- Experience in other revenue management tools or platforms is a plus.
- Strong background in business process analysis, requirement gathering, and system configuration.
- Proficiency in Model N Flex platform, including its configuration and functionality.
- Strong understanding of relational databases, SQL, and integration technologies (e.g., Web Services, REST APIs).
- Familiarity with Salesforce, SAP, or other ERP systems is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of pricing, revenue management, order-to-cash processes, and related business workflows.
- Ability to translate complex business needs into technical solutions within Model N Flex.
- Experience with data migration, system integration, and process automation.
