- Design of open and closed loop control systems for high voltage direct current systems (HVDC)
- Implementation of control or protection software in MATLAB/SIMULINK as well as verification using software-in-the-loop (SIL) and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) test environments
- Clarification of technical requirements within project teams as well as with customers and suppliers
- Preparation of design specifications, documentation, training and effort estimations
- Remote support during commissioning and after-sales service of HVDC systems
- 5+ years of exp, University degree in electrical engineering with focus on power systems or control technology as well as first professional experience
- Good knowledge in converter- and high voltage technology as well as in open/closed loop controls or protection
- Good MATLAB/SIMULINK knowledge including model-based implementation and verification
- Experience in the configuration of automation systems
