Responsibilities As a Modeling & Simulations Technician with AMERICAN SYSTEMS you will have the opportunity to do the following:
* Serve as a software application manager in accordance with DTOC Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
* Provide annual usage metrics on M&S software applications with recommendations on quantities requirement to meet operational needs.
* Assist in developing and executing test plans related to STE interoperability with connected training devices and collaborate with TSSC as required.
* Be knowledgeable in the use of DIS troubleshooting tools (e.g.: Wireshark and DIS PDU Analyzer (DPA).
* Providing basic level M&S training to all DTOC personnel on annual basis.
* Represent DTOC and ANG DMO standards at standard working groups identified by the government. Qualifications * Bachelor's Degree and two (2) to four (4) years of experience. A combination of education and experience can be used in lieu of degree.
* Functional knowledge of distributed simulation (DIS) and High-Level Architecture (HLA).
* Experience analyzing network traffic and troubleshooting DIS/HLA packets using Wireshark, DPA, or similar software tools
* Expert knowledge on use of stimulation software such as NGTS, MACE, VRSG, etc
* Active, in-scope US Government issued Secret clearance. Pay Transparency Statement AMERICAN SYSTEMS is committed to pay transparency for our applicants and employee-owners. The salary range for this position is USD $67,800.00/Yr. - USD $113,200.00/Yr. Actual compensation will be determined based on several factors permitted by law.
