University Credit Union, a growing credit union in Maine, is seeking a full-time Mortgage Origination Manager. This position would be responsible for growing and managing the Credit Union's real estate lending originations, which include managing and coaching mortgage loan originators to increase business development opportunities and exceed borrower expectations. The Mortgage Origination Manager will also manage the real estate pipeline, monitor compliance related to mortgage applications and originate real estate loans as needed. Consistently demonstrates the ability to think independently, outside the box, by effectively responding to each individual member's unique situation. Commands a thorough knowledge of the real estate lending process from application to closing to ensure maximum production. Is fully knowledgeable of all credit union products and services and is able to confidently offer appropriate solutions to fit member needs. Is able to clearly and effectively communicate with members and all levels of staff in oral and written form and is proficient with applicable technology.
We are looking for someone who is positive, energetic and motivated to make a difference in peoples lives. 3-5 years of real estate lending experience is required. Our mortgage department is always busy as we are experts in the mortgage industry and offer competitive rates. Simply put, we do mortgages well!
