This individual will focus on continual improvement processes to better the presentation, preparation, execution, and billing practices for work scopes tied to the MRO business.

This individual will focus on continual improvement processes to better the presentation, preparation, execution, and billing practices for work scopes tied to the MRO business.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Directly manages quoters, planners / schedulers, work order administrators and other members deemed required of the business office
- Ensures on-time delivery of MRO projects through coordination of team members
- Works with MRO sales, parts department, vendors, and department heads to ensure timely coordination of all aspects of all MRO projects
- Provides feedback to managers and department heads regarding process improvement
- Writes annual performance evaluations and disciplinary actions for assigned team members
- Indirectly and directly supervise up to 20 employees within the MRO Business office
- Motivates, mentors, trains, and provides feedback to their team
- Ensures accuracy of all quotes, work orders, invoices, and warranty claims and their submittal in a timely manner
Qualifications & Job Requirements
- Minimum five (5) years' experience in general aviation
- Minimum three (3) years' leadership experience in general aviation
- Thorough knowledge of aircraft completion, production, and manufacturing operations
- Familiarity with the industry vendors, regulations, and current procedures for completing interiors on a timely and competitive basis
- Proficiency with MS Office including spreadsheet creation, database management, and reporting
- Able to rationalize and justify capital expenditures, budgets, business plans
- Prefer Bachelor's Degree in Aviation, Business Management, Finance, or equivalent work experience
Education & Certifications:

- Pass pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Ability to obtain Airport Issued security badge
- Valid Driver's license
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Primarily indoors in a temperature-controlled environment
- This position requires occasional work in an aircraft hangar environment where the employee will be exposed to variable temperatures and industrial type noise conditions
- Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Frequent standing, sitting, and walking, balancing, stooping - often for extended periods of time
- Constantly requires clear vision to read printed materials and computer screen to accomplish work
- Constantly requires clarity of speech and hearing, which permits the employee to communicate effectively
