Job Title: Microsoft Access Developer As a Microsoft Access Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining database solutions / data flow / data process to support our healthcare operations. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the improvement of healthcare delivery for our diverse patient population.
Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain Microsoft Access databases and applications tailored to the specific needs of client
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional database solutions.
Create efficient database structures, forms, queries, and reports to optimize data management and analysis.
Customize and integrate Microsoft Access applications with other software systems and platforms used within Altamed Healthcare.
Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure data integrity and application reliability.
Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive healthcare data and comply with regulatory requirements such as HIPAA.
Provide technical support, training, and documentation to users to facilitate effective utilization of Microsoft Access databases and applications.
Stay updated on emerging trends and best practices in database development, particularly related to Microsoft Access, and recommend enhancements or modifications accordingly.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the integration of Microsoft Access databases with enterprise-wide systems and workflows
Participate in regular meetings, project reviews, and status updates to ensure alignment with project goals and timelines.
Required Skills : o Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. o Proven experience in developing Microsoft Access databases and applications, preferably in a healthcare or related industry. o Proficiency in Microsoft Access, including advanced knowledge of database design, SQL queries, forms, reports, and VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) programming. o Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders. o Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines. o Understanding of healthcare data management principles and compliance requirements, such as HIPAA, preferred. o Familiarity with other database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle) and programming languages (e.g., Python, C#) is a plus. o Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Access Specialist) would be advantageous. o Join Altamed Healthcare and be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering high-quality healthcare services to our community.
