Job Title: Radiologic Technologist, CT Technologist
Job Specialty: Diagnostic Imaging
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Night Shift
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum years of experience not specified
License: Licensed Technologist
Certifications: Registered Technologist by the ARRT
Must-Have:
- Graduate of an accredited high school or equivalent
- Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology accredited by the ARRT
- Licensed technologist by the state and the appropriate board
- Knowledge relative to the age of patients served
- Willingness to work holiday coverage if required
Job Description:
- Perform radiographic and CT procedures at a technical level independently, applying prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis.
- Operate under the direction of the Radiologist and Department Director.
- Assume responsibility for designated areas and procedures as required.
- Show ingenuity and initiative in performing duties.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Maintain patient records and document procedures.
- Follow department protocols and guidelines.
- Provide excellent patient care and communication.
- Collaborate effectively with radiology staff and other healthcare professionals.
