Job Title: Respiratory Therapist

Job Specialty: Respiratory Therapy

Job Duration: 8 weeks

Shift: 4 x 10-hour shifts

Guaranteed Hours: 30 hours per week

Experience: Minimum of 2 years

License: State Respiratory Therapist License

Certifications: Respiratory Therapy Certification (CRT or RRT)

Must-Have: Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical records, availability for holiday coverage

Job Description:
- Provide respiratory therapy services following established protocols and industry best practices.
- Assess, treat, and manage patients with respiratory disorders.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Operate and maintain various respiratory therapy equipment and tools.
- Monitor patients' physiological responses to therapy and adjust treatments as needed.
- Educate patients and their families on respiratory health and equipment use.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records in the electronic medical records system.
- Ensure compliance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.
