THIS POSITION IS OPEN TO ALL INFRASTRUCTURE (A, B, C, E) MAINTENANCE SUPERVISORS LEVEL I & MAINTENANCE SUPERVISORS LEVEL II

Compensation:

Maintenance Supervisor Level II Salary Range:

1st Step - Entrance $110,381

2nd Step - 7th Month $111,951

3rd Step - 2nd Year $115,888

Responsibility:

Under supervision, with latitude for independent action, the incumbent will be responsible for MOW Gas Cards and Pins for Truck Drivers. Will assist with Petty Cash distribution and replenishment to ensure continuous supply of funds. Assist in administering the call-in contract for concrete orders for in-house projects. Assist in ordering stationary supplies vac PeopleSoft to support the groups within the division. Will assist with daily operations of the Material Planning office and perform duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

Five years of full-time satisfactory experience working in any discipline within Department of Subways. At least one year in a supervisory capacity. This p osition is open only to current MTA/NYCT employees who have a permanent status in the title of Maintenance Supervisor I or II A,B,C,E.

A Motor Vehicle Driver License valid in the State of New York with no restrictions.

Desired Skills:

  • Three (3) years of supervisory experience.
  • Must be capable of maintaining records pertaining to material and Petty Cash.
  • Must have knowledge in concrete mixture and components for vendor submission.
  • Must be capable of interfacing and communicating with other departments and vendors.
  • Should have typing and computer skills, knowledge of spread sheets and database are highly desirable.
  • Must be familiar with maintenance responsibilities and organizational chain of command.
