Job Title: Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist
Job Specialty: Multi-Modality Imaging Technologist
Job Duration: 13 months
Shift: Mon-Thurs 12:00 PM-8:30 PM, Fri 8:00 AM-8:30 PM, Sat/Sun 10:00 AM-8:30 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 40.00 hours per week
Experience: Preferred - One year of current clinical experience in each modality
License: Current State of Wisconsin license as a Radiographer
Certifications:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registered
- Registered by the ARRT in CT, Mammography, or Bone Density within 18 months of hire/transfer
- American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider or an AHA-approved equivalent
Must-Have:
- ARRT CT certification is required prior to start
- CT experience is a must
Job Description:
- Prepare patients, perform imaging procedures, and operate imaging equipment under the direction of a radiologist or other providers.
- Perform diagnostic studies according to specific guidelines and prescribed protocols while utilizing appropriate radiation protection measures.
- Adhere to organizational customer service standards and support organizational excellence initiatives.
- Provide positive and effective interaction and communication with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Perform ancillary services and assist in patient care areas as necessary.
- Work in two or more of the following modalities and meet the requirements of advanced certification: Bone Densitometry, CT, Diagnostic X-ray, and Mammography.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Education:
Required: Post high school completion of an ARRT accredited Radiologic Technology program
Preferred: An additional 1-2 years of college/university coursework and/or an undergraduate degree in a healthcare-related field
