Job Description
Job Title: Multi Modality Tech
Job Specialty: Radiology C.T. Scan
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 10-hour day shift, 0600-1830 or 0700-1930, 5x8 hour shifts
Guaranteed Hours: 40.00 per week
Experience: 1 year of imaging experience
License: Registered Radiology Technologist from ARRT
Certifications:
- ARRT (CT), ARRT (M), ARRT (MR)
- R.T.(R)(VI)(ARRT), R.T.(R)(CV)(ARRT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA
Must-Have:
- High School Diploma/GED required
- Associate's Degree strongly preferred
- Bachelor's Degree preferred
Job Description:
- Provide quality patient care in two or more medical imaging departments.
- Perform high-quality imaging exams sensitive to patient needs.
- Follow safe radiation practice standards and reduce exposure to ALARA.
- Prepare and position patients for exams, providing information and responding to their needs.
- Communicate effectively with physicians, imaging personnel, and hospital staff.
- Assist with patient transport and administer IV and contrast as required.
- Input charges and required data for procedures and supplies used.
- Maintain and prepare equipment and exam materials; report and document any issues.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and document quality checks.
- Establish motivating rapport with physicians and staff.
- Engage in professional activities and ongoing education.
- Participate in clinical training and department quality improvement initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with all applicable regulations and standards.
- Contribute to accreditation processes as requested.
- Float to other locations as needed, possibly performing duties outside the original job requirements.
