The Department of Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center is recruiting a board certified/board eligible multi-organ transplant surgeon for a full-time faculty position in the Division of Transplantation. The candidate should have completed training in general surgery and an ASTS-approved transplant fellowship. Candidates must have experience in liver, kidney and pancreas transplantation, as well as multi-organ donor experience. Candidates must have a demonstrated track record of clinical excellence and scholarly activities, with achievements in basic or clinical research. Appointment as Instructor or Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School will be commensurate with experience, training and achievements in addition to teaching activities. Applicants from communities traditionally underrepresented in medicine are welcome.

The Department of Surgery will be engaged in the new clinical collaboration between Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, BIDMC, and Harvard Medical Faculty Physicians (HMFP) to establish New England's only free-standing adult inpatient cancer hospital. The collaboration will bring together world-class clinicians to deliver transformational, precision medicine in an environment solely dedicated to defying cancer.
