Municipal Engineer/Regional Manager

POSITION DESCRIPTION

We are currently seeking a full-time Municipal Engineer/ Regional Manager to lead our Dubuque office. Our team works with local communities on a wide range of civil, municipal, and environmental projects. We are looking for a licensed Professional Engineer with excellent communication skills and a breadth of engineering experience to lead our local team and assist in serving our local client base. In this position, you will split time between offices leading them in the planning, design, and construction of engineering projects including street reconstruction, site grading, potable water, sanitary sewer, and storm water management systems. You will work with local staff as well as utilize our company wide resources to complete our project.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Lead the creation of project proposals
• Lead portions of or entire project teams in planning, design and construction.
• Client contact including attendance at board or council meetings
• Project management including successfully completing projects on time and within budget
• Guide staff and/or utilize Civil3D for plan preparation.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering required
• Minimum experience of 10 years in civil engineering with governmental clients required
• Iowa PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months required
• Previous client and project management experience required
• Solid written and verbal communication skills required
