NACE Level 2 / AMPP Certified Coatings Inspector

The position requires the following:

Minimum Certification: NACE Level 2/ AMPP Certified Coatings Inspector

Fireproofing Experience - Preferred

Rope Access Level 1 - Preferred

Valid TWIC Card

Valid Driver's License

Must pass DOE/DOT DA testing (follicle)

Pay rate: $40-$45/hr. DOE

This is a long-term FT nested position (40-50hrs/wk.) (NO PER DIEM/MILEAGE AVAILABLE)

Duties will consist of:

• Conduct coating and/or corrosion assessments of installed tanks, equipment, piping, and structural components using PK's Intellispec software.
• Perform Client level Quality Assurance inspections of designated hold points throughout the blasting and coating process.
• Document and report findings from hold point inspections to the facility Corrosion Engineer via PK's Intellispec software.
• Assist facility corrosion engineer in future job scope development, verification, and planning.
• Provide coating/fireproofing technical support as needed.
