The National Catering Sales Manager is a vital member of the Catering Team, focused on growing our catering sales channel. This role involves driving catering growth through inbound sales management, driving value, business growth, and customer success with our B2B relationships including Outpost + Catering National Accounts. Furthermore, this role will leverage sales skills by focusing on lead conversion by converting inbound inquiry into confirmed sales orders.

This position's key areas are inquiry management, quote creation, client engagement, ordering process, collaboration with client and restaurant teams, identifying sales growth opportunities with our inbound inquiries, and follow up for guest satisfaction.

You will:

Sales Strategy, Client and Partnership Management (40%): Lead inbound conversion strategy and create a catering sales playbook tailored by customer type, creating solutions to capture sales and expand our catering business through multi-channel communication and detailed quote creation, with managing the full cycle of each catering order. You will lead, manage, and foster our National and Outpost established accounts by managing the full order cycle, ensuring timely follow-ups, and prioritizing guest satisfaction throughout the entire process. This role also involves assisting our restaurant teams, including supporting sales, inputting orders, securing payments, and finalizing details. Creating ways to build and maintain relationships with our catering clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions will be part of your daily responsibility along with resolving client complaints. Identify ways to provide catering customers with a premium, personalized service f, delivering exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of their sweetgreen experience.

Catering Orders Follow-Up (20%): Create tools and systems to follow up with our catering guests to ensure order satisfaction, guest feedback, and repeat orders placement.

Catering Sales Goals: **(20%)**This role will create, develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve quarterly and annual catering sales goals, think outside the box when it comes to growing our catering business, with new clients and expanding our current customer base.

Catering House Accounts, POs, and Vendor Application (10%): Manage Catering House Accounts from application process, ensuring proper accounting information on account, securing orders, to collection, and monitor and reconcile aging reports. Additionally, manage Vendor Applications and POs that need to be filled out in a timely manner to support onboarding new accounts.

Restaurant Operations Support (10%): Ensure that all aspects of catering orders are finalized by collaborating closely with the restaurant operations team. Assist the restaurant team with questions they may have regarding catering orders, identify solutions for restaurants to execute orders, provide support with accurate orders details, assignment of drivers, and addressing real-time issues that may arise. This role is a proactive problem solver, ensuring a seamless catering experience.

This role is crucial for driving the growth of our catering business while ensuring exceptional service delivery to our valued catering guests.

Proactively act as a Sweetgreen Brand Ambassador.

Desired Experience:
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and driving revenue growth within a fast-paced sales environment.

-3-5 Years Catering Sales Experience
  • Knowledgeable with ezCater, MSI, and other catering partners. - Proven experience in sales, preferably within the catering or food service industry.
  • Strong networking and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
  • Readily available Mon.-Fri. Business hours.
  • Flexibility with nights and weekends.

Salary range for this role:

Starting salary range based on experience

$83,000-$119,000 USD
