As we continue expanding into the US, our business is experiencing rapid growth. Our amazing National Key Account Manager is shifting her focus to lead the charge in the US market, and that's why this exciting role is now available. She has been instrumental in our success, and we're looking for someone just as talented and passionate to step into her shoes and help us continue growing across Canada.

At Pacific Smoke International, our mission is to help people quit smoking by offering safer alternatives to traditional cigarettes. As Canada's leading distributor of electric vaporizers and award-winning vaping products, we've made great strides since our founding in 2013. Now, we are seeking a National Key Account Manager (Specialty Channels) with expertise in managing niche markets to build strategic partnerships and drive growth across specialty retail accounts nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Channel Account Management: Oversee key specialty retail accounts across Canada, ensuring strong relationships, revenue growth management, and satisfaction among customers
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Manage relationships with senior executives and key decision-makers internally and externally, ensuring strategic alignment with business goals.
  • People Leadership: Lead and manage teams across regions, particularly within the specialty channel sector, guiding to enhance sales performance and drive market penetration.
  • Market & Trend Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of sales trends to predict store-level performance and uncover opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Regulatory & Market Expertise: Stay well-versed in provincial regulations, market dynamics, and distribution models unique to each province
  • Competitive Intelligence: Keep a close eye on competitors within the specialty channels, leveraging insights to strengthen PSI's position in these key markets.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute strategies tailored to specialty channels, working closely with accounts to meet their needs and drive national sales growth.
  • Revenue Growth Management: Leverage existing assets and programs to drive profitable revenue growth while maintaining trade spending within budgets. This includes customer rebate negotiations, promo design, and overall spending within the channel
  • Cross-Provincial Operations: Utilize your deep understanding of regional market differences, regulations, and challenges from West to East Canada to ensure consistent growth across all provinces.


Qualifications:
  • Experience: 12-15 years of experience in sales, with a strong focus on key account management, ideally within retail channels in consumer packaged goods (CPG) or related industries.
  • Stakeholder Management: Proven success in managing relationships with senior stakeholders and key decision-makers at both national and regional levels.
  • Leadership: Strong people management skills, with a history of leading and developing high-performing teams.


  • Specialty Market Insight: Expert in managing retail channels and niche markets, with a deep understanding of these spaces' unique dynamics and regulations.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze sales trends, forecast market shifts, and provide actionable insights to improve performance at the store level.
  • Competitive Awareness: Familiarity with competitor strategies within the specialty channel sector, and the ability to pivot and maintain a competitive edge.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive business outcomes.
  • Adaptability: Experience working across Canada's diverse provinces, understanding regional differences and challenges
