ESSENTIAL Duties
- Supervise and lead and develop summary reporting for an occupational health needs assessment.
- Defines and drives health outcome initiatives; implements interventions and presents results to Health Center providers and management team as well as the client partner.
- Collaborates in the development of clinical and administrative strategies, action plans, and processes to improve or create innovative approaches to service the medical requirements of the client/account.
- Participate in quarterly business reviews and strategic business meetings with client contacts in partnership with director of client operations.
- Attend weekly, monthly, and quarterly client meetings as needed.
- Assists in the establishment of safe practices and safety standards.
- Facilitates development and standardization of policies, procedures, and protocols.
- Collaborates in Quality Program initiatives.
- Provides guidance regarding compliance concerns including but not limited to providing consultative services for occupational health injuries, ADA accommodations, etc.
- Provides/coordinates clinical advice and guidance.
- Provides consultative advice and insight on unique medical cases.
- Collaborates in Member Experience programming.
- Provides occupational, episodic, preventive, and/or primary health care to patients depending on the needs of the client. Conducts histories, physical exams, medical clearance and prescribes medical treatment.
- May require other duties as assigned.
- Work in partnership with the Director of Client Operations (DCO), Group Health Center Managers (GHCM) to ensure effective communication between the Operations and Clinical Leadership teams
- Provide Collaborative Physician/Supervising Physician support for Advanced Practice Providers including chart reviews
- Travel to the client locations supported by contract
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Education:
- MD or DO degree.
- Board certified in Occupational Health and/or Primary Care or demonstrated expertise required.
Experience:
- 10+ years of experience in clinical care required.
- 5+ years minimum experience clinical management required.
Knowledge and Skills:
- Broad appreciation and understanding of evidence-based medicine.
- Ability to navigate in a diverse healthcare eco system.
