Natural Gas Scheduler (Houston, TX)

We are seeking a highly organized and detail oriented Natural Gas Scheduler to join our Glencore Houston team that trades the Western Region of the United States. This position will play a critical role in nominating daily and monthly natural gas transactions. You will work closely with traders ensuring that all gas operations are handled.

Job Responsibilities:

• Manage and schedule daily natural gas nominations across multiple pipelines and storage facilities in support of the trading operations.
• Collect and monitor measurements for company receipt and delivery points and manage imbalances.
• Monitors pipeline postings for information that could impact day to day scheduling activities.
• Proactively look for optimization opportunities and communicate with traders.
• Accurately track all scheduling activities in accounting system, work with invoicing and settlements for end of month.
• Able to participate in on call activities when required during various weekday, evening, and weekend hours.

Requirements :

• CXL or Endur experience a plus
• Experience with some of the major west region pipelines required, such as El Paso, TW, Kern, PG&E, Socal, NWPL, OVT, REX, etc
