We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army's Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) program, a next generation stop-fold aircraft.
This position is onsite in Fort Worth.
Non-Destructive Evaluation -Materials & Process Engineering (across multiple levels)
Non-Destructive Evaluation (NDE) personnel provide specialized support through all phases of rotorcraft design, development, test, and sustainment activities for Commercial and Military programs. The NDE team is responsible for NDE related process specifications, development, fabrication and implementation of inspection procedures, and development of new and/or unique inspection methods.
Tasks include, development of procedures and inspection of structural test components, flight test inspections, NDE problem resolution for fielded fleet issues, and NDE supplier on-site assessments, and supporting manufacturing inspections .

What you'll be doing as a Non-Destructive Evaluation M&P Engr
Tasks within the Radiography Laboratory include the following:
- Coordinating, developing, and approving casting radiography techniques
- Reviewing First Article Inspection radiography submissions from suppliers.
- Performing supplier radiography process and personnel evaluations, evaluating both film and digital methods;
- Development, execution, and analysis of computer aided tomography inspections of various rotor craft Representing Bell at industry committee meetings and conferences,
- Assisting manufacturing with radiography of production parts for FOD detection and program specific radiography requirements.
Skills You Bring To this Role
- Experience with radiography methods and casting inspection requirements
- Knowledge regarding aerospace specifications and quality requirements
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal customers and outside suppliers.

What you need to be successful
- Four (4) or more years radiography experience and knowledge related to the inspection of castings.
- Experience with multiple radiographic methods, including film, digital, and computer aided tomography
- NAS 410 Level II or III certification in Radiographic Testing (RT).
- Additional methods such as Penetrant Inspection (PI), Ultrasonic Inspection (UT) and Eddy-current Testing (ET) are beneficial.
- Associates degree or High School degree with 4 or more years of NDE training/experience
- Foundry experience and knowledge of foundry practices for sand and investment castings.
