ECS is seeking a Network Administrator - Level III to work in our Aurora, CO office.

Please Note: This position is contingent upon contract award.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Network Administrator - Level II to join our team in Aurora, CO. As a Network Administrator, you will be responsible for administering and managing the organization's network infrastructure, ensuring its reliability, security, and performance. If you have a strong background in network administration, expertise in managing LAN, WAN, and wireless networks, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of network operations, we encourage you to apply for this position.

  • Work Days: Monday - Friday with occasional weekend and after hours support.
  • Must be able to lift 35lbs regularly
  • Must be able to move about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly for long distances or moving from one work site to another.


Salary Range: $113,000 - $123,000

  • Bachelor's degree and/or equivalency.
  • Must have active Public Trust security clearance and US citizenship is required per the contract.
  • Administer and manage the organization's network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and wireless networks.
  • Provide network support to users, addressing connectivity issues and ensuring reliable network access.
  • Configure network devices such as routers, switches, and access points to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Monitor network performance and availability using network management tools, responding to alerts and resolving issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of network configurations, topologies, and processes.
  • Manage inventory of network hardware and software, ensuring proper tracking and maintenance.
  • Develop and implement network configuration plans to support organizational needs and growth.
  • Manage network configuration changes, ensuring minimal disruption to network services.
  • Perform regular backups of network configurations and implement restore procedures as needed.
  • Ensure network configurations adhere to organizational standards and best practices.
  • Conduct periodic audits of network configurations to ensure compliance with policies and standards.
  • Utilize automated tools to streamline network configuration management and reduce manual errors.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on network devices to ensure their proper functioning and longevity.
  • Apply firmware and software updates to network devices to maintain security and performance.
  • Coordinate and perform repairs or replacements of faulty network hardware.
  • Work with vendors for warranty repairs and support services.
  • Develop and adhere to maintenance schedules to ensure timely upkeep of
  • Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, including updates and repairs.
  • Implement and enforce network security policies to protect against unauthorized access and threats.
  • Configure and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and other security devices.
  • Manage network access controls, ensuring only authorized users have access
  • Monitor network security, detecting and responding to potential threats and vulnerabilities.
  • Coordinate and participate in network security incident response efforts.
  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments to ensure compliance with security policies and standards.
  • Continuously monitor network performance, identifying and addressing
  • Conduct capacity planning to ensure the network can accommodate current and future demands.
  • Optimize network performance through configuration adjustments and hardware upgrades.
  • Generate regular reports on network performance, highlighting key metrics and areas for improvement.
  • Utilize performance management tools to gain insights into network performance and make data-driven decisions.
