This role is responsible for day-to-day network operations, monitoring, problem resolution, and ensuring the reliability of network architecture and devices.

Overview:
We are seeking a Network Administrator to support implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of IT networks within a high-security environment. This role is responsible for day-to-day network operations, monitoring, problem resolution, and ensuring the reliability of network architecture and devices.
This position offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge network technologies while supporting mission-critical operations in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Network Support & Troubleshooting:
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 support for network issues, identifying, diagnosing, and resolving problems.
- Isolate and resolve hardware and software problems across applications, operating systems, network infrastructure, and hardware.
- Support the escalation process and communicate system status updates to management and internal customers.
- Monitor and maintain network integrity, implementing system enhancements to improve performance and reliability.
- Network Implementation & Maintenance:
- Configure, integrate, and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure and network components.
- Assist in migrating existing services to Cloud environments and transitioning users to new service platforms.
- Provide hardware infrastructure site surveys, planning, and design to optimize network performance.
- Perform manhole maintenance and repair services for outside plant cabling on an 8x5 service support schedule.
- System Transition & Migration:
- Support transition planning to ensure smooth migration of IT services, reducing risk and ensuring service continuity.
- Provide on-site network support at an expanded 24/7 service level, with on-call support and a two-hour response time during non-core hours.
Required Qualifications:
? Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI (U.S. Citizenship required)
? Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical field
? Experience: Minimum 4+ years as a Network Administrator
? Certifications:
- DoD 8140.01 & 8570.01-M, IAT Level II compliance required
? Technical Expertise: - Experience with installing, terminating, and managing IT cabling and fiber infrastructure
- Ability to plan, build, and install cable patch panels and structured cabling solutions
- Experience with equipment rack installation in data centers, comms closets, operations centers, and workspaces
- Strong knowledge of network infrastructure management
