Job Description
Responsibilities
Assist and drive ongoing maintenance and support of our global LAN network infrastructure
Review designs, modifications, performance checks, and liaise with multiple vendors/carriers for the timely delivery of telecommunications services.
Manage work flow to ensure sensitive customer faults are prioritized
Oversee technical plans, specifications, procedures, standards, codes of practice, maintenance and training documentations
Review Managed Service Partner service tickets to ensure SLAs/SLRs are delivered and met.
Act as point of escalation to service ticket issues that are not able to meet SLA/SLR.
Assist Managed Service Providers with IT and business interactions
Required
Vendor management experience
Ability to configure and support Cisco Enterprise grade routers and switches
Self-disciplined, self-starter, professional who can successfully take ownership of tasks to closure with minimum directions, guidance and oversight.
Excellent communication and customer service skills
A minimum of 5 years supporting large networks
Desired
Cisco certification CCNA
Relevant ICT degree or Diploma
Understanding of ITIL frameworks
Wireless experience
Qualifications
Bachlors
