E&M Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking a Network and Computer Systems Administrator to join our team in Langley AFB, VA in support of the Air Force's Falconer Air Operations Center (AOC). The Falconer program assists Air Force component commanders in planning, directing, and assessing air, space, and cyberspace operations. The AOC ingests, analyzes, and disseminates command, control, and intelligence data to support operations around the globe.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Works directly with Air Operations Center Production Center (AOC-PC) systems administrators to ensure all systems security procedures are being followed in accordance with the applicable Systems Security Plan (SSP), DISA Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG's), and Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) bulletins.
  • Utilizes E-Policy Orchestrator (EPO) to manage and enforce network security on all IT assets spanning 3 different networks withing the AOC-PC using policy assignments and client tasks.
  • Conducts passive evaluations such as compliance audits using STIG Viewer, Evaluate STIG, SCAP, etc. and active evaluations such as vulnerability assessments utilizing tools such as ACAS.
  • Performs assessments of RMF artifacts and identifies where those artifacts deviate from RMF Control Requirements.
  • Designs, develops, and implements security requirements within the AOC-PC's business processes.
  • Prepares documentation from information obtained from the government customer using accepted guidelines such as RMF.
  • Provide architectural guidance, enablement, and operationalization of legacy system migration operations to accommodate business/technical use cases.
  • Design, automate and manage provisioning needs, such as storage and compute components, Role Based Access Control model and User Access.
  • Coordinate and collaborate with dependent infrastructure and AWS services to implement software integration with services, such as PrivateLink, S3, IAM, SSO, Encryption etc.
  • Implement backup, replication and recovery policies and procedures. Tuning for better performance and optimizing compute utilization.
  • Implement DevOps/CICD framework and solutions for provisioning software components and application code deployments.
  • Define standards and practices for platform use, provide technical expertise and troubleshooting. Provide support for change management, governance compliance, internal audits, and remediation.
  • On-call support during critical application rollouts and issues.
  • Work with Government lead in communicating and resolving platform challenges.
  • Provide technical leadership, mentoring and oversight for Revolving system admins.


Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8 or more years of solid, diverse work experience in IT, database management, analytics or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • 5 years of experience providing architectural guidance and technical direction to developers, or platform administrators.
  • At least 3 years of experience with administration and tuning of RDBMS database platforms, developing database and analytical applications with languages, such as: SQL, Python.
  • 3 years of experience (or equivalent training/certification) preferred in enabling, operationalizing and administration of cloud platform.
  • 2 years of experience (or equivalent training/certification) with AWS Services (S3, IAM, SQS, SNS etc) associated with Snowflake and CICD tools such as GIT, Jenkins, uDeploy, Liquibase.
  • Ability to learn new technologies quickly and perform major job responsibilities proficiently within 6-12 months.
  • Strong analytical ability, problem analysis techniques, and broad knowledge of technology alternatives.
  • Experience working in Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) and IN-DEPTH understanding of CAOC processes and procedures in support of execution of the Air Tasking Order(ATO) and Airspace Control Order(ACO).
  • Must Be a US Citizen.
  • Must have and be capable of maintaining a U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Graduate-level degree in Engineering or a related technical or business field
  • Experience working in Combined Air Operations Center (CAOC) and general understanding of CAOC processes and procedures in support of execution of the Air Tasking Order (ATO) and Airspace Control Order (ACO)
  • Demonstrated ability to be innovative and to work independently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
