Summary:
Responsible for the operation of the ISD 709 network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, Internet, IP Telephony, Video Security and System Security. This responsibility includes designing, implementing, and maintaining the network infrastructure to support the district curriculum and administrative requirements. Leading and coordinating the work of the network technical support staff to provide the highest quality of system reliability, support and services to ISD 709 students and staff. Provides assistance to ISD 709 staff with technology problems requiring expert troubleshooting and problem analysis. Provides monthly summary reports that would identify systems status, failures, deficiencies, and potential system issues. Coordinates, when necessary, direct assistance from manufacturers and vendors, including auditing and checking for accuracy of vendor billing.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B.S. or B.A.) from a four-year College or University in Computer Science, MIS, Business Technology plus either two years of experience as a Network Engineer/Network Administrator in a company comparable in size with this District with a staffing level of 1,500 or larger
- Two year Trade/Vocational School certification/degree in Networking/Technology plus four years of experience as a Network Engineer/Network Administrator in a company comparable in size with this District with a staffing level of 1,500
- Six years of experience as a Network Engineer/Network Administrator in a company comparable in size with this District with a staffing level of 1,500 or larger
- Training or experience supporting Cisco Network Infrastructure (telephony switches, wireless, etc.) or the equivalent work experience in a Network Support position in a small to medium size company
- Experience supporting Cisco Infrastructure (telephony, switches, wireless, etc.)
- Must have valid driver's license and a personal vehicle
- Must be able to travel between District sites in a timely manner
Desirable Qualifications:
- Two or more of the following Cisco Certifications (CCNA Routing and Switching, CCNA Voice, CCNA Wireless or CCNP in these areas)
- Two plus years supporting Cisco Telephony/VoIP
- Two plus years supporting Cisco Emergency Responder/E911
- Two plus years supporting Cisco UCS Server/System
- Two plus years using Microsoft DHCP
- Two plus years supporting Microsoft DNS
- Google Apps Certified Administrator
- Google Apps Certified Deployment Specialist
- Prior K12 work experience
- Cisco Certification CCNA or CCNP (Preferred)
- Microsoft Certification MCSA or MCSE (Preferred)
- Must have valid driver's license (required)

- Single Coverage - District pays 100% of premium (FREE) + contributes $2,612.50 into HRA annually
- Family Coverage - District pays 75% of premium (25% employee contribution) + contributes $5,225.00 into HRA annually
- Single Coverage - District pays 100% of Basic premium (FREE)
- Family Coverage - District pays 25% of Premium
- District provides minimum of $50,000 of life insurance at no cost, employee may purchase supplemental life insurance
- District-provided at no cost to employee
- Employees may elect to contribute on a pre-tax basis to Health Flexible Spending Accounts and Dependent Care Accounts
- The District contributes 7.5% of your total salary in the Public Employees Retirement Association) pension plan.
- Employees may also elect to participate in Tax-Shelter Annuity options.
