Job Description
Develops computer systems specifications to address business requirements that fit with the company's system architecture standards. Establishes and documents system parameters and formats, ensures hardware and software systems compatibility, and coordinates and/or modifies system parameters in terms of existing and projected computer capacity and capabilities. Revises existing systems and procedures to correct deficiencies and maintain more effective data handling, conversion, input/output requirements, and storage.
Qualifications
Three + years of experience troubleshooting QOS issue.
Five + years of networking experience, including configuring, analyzing & troubleshooting complex networks
Typically requires BS in CS or EE or equivalent plus 6-8 years related experience.
Additional Information
Desired Skills
Knowledge of system architecture and the ability to independently troubleshoot complex QOS / BGP and MPLS issues.
Experience supporting NIH 100G Cisco ASR architect.
Network Problem Resolution, Root-Cause Analysis, Software Referral assistance.
Expertise with Cisco QOS modeling for large scale enterprise MPLS network.
Strong documentation skills - to be utilized for case management, knowledge capture, defect management and Trainings.
Strong Problem Solving skills
Ability to recreate customer problems in lab in order to isolate the issue and resolve.
Proven crisis management skills, and the ability to excel under pressure.
Demonstrates excellence in customer-interaction, written and verbal communication, assertive leadership.
CCIE preferred but not required
Clearance Requirement: US Citizen or Green Card holder
