Network Engineer

Infrastructure / Networking Engineer

Edgehog is a growing company and this role encompasses multiple disciplines related to networking, server hardware, and software.

- Focus on system reliability and uptime

- Monitor performance and manage system capacity

- Automate repetitive or error prone manual processes

- Research new technologies

- Familiarity with Linux and network troubleshooting best practices

- Detail oriented and skilled at managing workload

- Comfortable with scripting (Python, shell, etc)

- Knowledge of network hardware

- Ability to configure firewall and VPN with a focus on network security

- Plan network migrations and configure new servers

Desired traits:

- Experience managing Linux server environments at a trading firm

- Familiar with Docker, Grafana

- Understanding of basic options trading

- Familiarity with CME market infrastructure

- Good communication skills
