Our team of experienced Linux, Windows, and network engineers is seeking a motivated person to perform system engineering for our information systems. Applicants selected must have a Top Secret security clearance; therefore, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Our team of experienced Linux, Windows, and network engineers is seeking a motivated person to perform system engineering for our information systems. Applicants selected must have a Top Secret security clearance; therefore, U.S. Citizenship is required.
Responsibilities
- Serve Customer on-site facility Monday-Friday 8am-5pm (excluding holidays)
- Building and deploying complex networks and systems
- Provisioning, configuring, and deploying Linux and Windows servers
- Applying patches and fixes to remediate identified vulnerabilities
- Troubleshooting issues that arise from the system
- Developing new and innovative ways for our team to improve our performance and product offerings
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of both Windows or Linux operating systems
- Strong understanding of routing and switching protocols
- Understanding of the OSI model and standard network protocols
- Subnetting, DNS, encryption technologies and standards, VPNs, VLANs, VoIP, etc.
- Previous experience with automated deployment and provisioning tools
- Demonstrated understanding of system engineering processes and the role that information security has to play in those processes
Preferred Skills
- Experience deploying VMWare solutions
- Configuring network routers, switches, firewalls, etc.
- Windows and Linux hardening
- Salt automation
Education
- Relevant college degree plus three (3) years of experience, or five (5) years of relevant experience
