Network Engineer

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer with a specialization in Windows devices and their integration with wireless access points (WAPs). The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in ensuring seamless wireless connectivity for Windows devices in enterprise environments. This role involves designing, optimizing, and troubleshooting wireless networks to support Windows devices while ensuring top-tier performance and user experience.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Wireless Network Design and Maintenance:
  Design, configure, and maintain wireless networks to support Windows OS devices in enterprise environments, ensuring stable and efficient connectivity.
• Performance Optimization:
  Analyze and optimize the interaction between Windows OS devices and wireless access points (WAPs), focusing on performance improvements and reducing network latency.
• Troubleshooting Connectivity Issues:
  Diagnose and resolve issues related to wireless connectivity, including problems with wireless protocols, access point configurations, and Windows OS device behavior.
• Collaboration with IT and Engineering Teams:
  Work closely with IT and engineering teams to implement network policies, security measures, and standards tailored to Windows OS devices in the enterprise.
• Wireless Network Testing and Analysis:
  Conduct regular performance testing of wireless networks, including site surveys, signal strength analysis, and bandwidth utilization assessments, with a focus on Windows OS devices.
• Access Point Configuration and Troubleshooting:
  Configure and troubleshoot wireless access points, controllers, and associated networking equipment to ensure seamless Windows OS operations and improve network efficiency.
• Monitoring and Log Analysis:
  Monitor network logs to detect and resolve any wireless performance or connectivity bottlenecks, ensuring a reliable and high-quality user experience.
• Continuous Learning and Improvement:
  Stay updated on advancements in Windows OS and wireless technologies and recommend system improvements and innovative solutions to enhance network performance.
• Documentation:
  Document network configurations, troubleshooting steps, and standard operating procedures for Windows OS and wireless system integrations.

• Knowledge of cloud-managed wireless solutions, such as Cisco Meraki or Aruba Central.
• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification is preferred.

Education and Experience:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree or higher in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering).
• Relevant Work Experience: 5+ years in network engineering with a focus on wireless technologies, particularly in Windows OS environments.
• Management Experience: 5+ years of experience managing or leading IT/networking teams.

Certifications/Licenses:

• Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or equivalent certification preferred.
