- Hands-on' experience in designing and deploying network infrastructure in industrial environments including process automation, discrete controls, and automated manufacturing processes / equipment.
- Experience in developing and deploying solutions in a virtual environment. Experience in PLC, Networking and SCADA design/programming including data extraction and data analysis.
- Exposure to PLC programming packages (Client or comparable platforms).
- Technical skills with various Ethernet protocols including EtherNet/IP, specifically around assessment, design and implementation of complex systems.
- Commercial skills, ability to handle multiple projects.
- Communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external teams, clients and vendors.
- Familiarity with a variety of networking, virtualization, and security concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Manufacturing network environment expertise with enterprise convergence
- Understanding of network protocols, communication optimization, application effects on system performance, and human exploitation techniques in the manufacturing environment.
- Design, implement and support customer's converged manufacturing/industrial network architecture as it relates to their business strategy and end-user needs.
- Write detailed documentation that could include customer requirements, system specifications, observed issues with remediation recommendations or implementation plans in order to develop or modify manufacturing infrastructure.
- Design, recommend, and implement network infrastructure and associated configuration changes.
- Design customer secure manufacturing architectures.
- Provide vision and anticipate customer needs in a consultive manner.
- Customer problem solving and issue resolution experience.
- In depth understanding of Ethernet protocols
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology or related technology driven degree. If no degree, 8+ years of experience in Manufacturing Control Systems, Network Engineering, and Industrial Security Controls.
- Minimum of 2+ years in Industrial Networking related experience
- Previous experience working as part of a large, multi-disciplinary team completing full project life-cycle implementations.
- Flexibility to travel 25% - 50% is required with the opportunity for both domestic and international trips.
- Legal authorization to work in the country of job posting is required.

- Certifications: CCIE, CCNA, CCNP Network Certification
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring IT/OT network infrastructure equipment (Cisco Switches, Virtual Server Environments, Cisco Firepower, Palo Alto firewalls, Fortinet Fortigates, Anti-Virus Software)
- Experience in an controls environment designing and troubleshooting industrial automation systems.
- iDMZ design and implementation experience.
- Wireless network design or implementation experience.
- Recognized Network Certification (CCNA / CCNP / CCIE Routing and Switching/Wireless, VCA, VCP, NCP-MCI, Cisco INS, GICSP)
- Understanding of NIST 800-82, NERC-CIP, IEC-62443 Standards.
