- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- Five years of working experience as a technology professional.
- Two years of platform operations experience, specifically supporting Kubernetes, microservices, and containerization.
- Two years of experience implementing infrastructure as code - IaC (Terraform)
- 2+ years working with Microsoft Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS), specifically administering and maintaining cluster lifecycle
- Day-to-day Job Functions / Skills, Licenses & Certifications
- Experience keeping production environments operating at peak performance on the cloud and in containers
- Experience managing production Kubernetes infrastructure
- Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration as code (CaC)
- Deep understanding of DevOps best practices and CI/CD, particularly utilizing Github Actions and ArgoCD
- Experience with Service Mesh technologies such as Istio
- Experience with using Rancher as a control plane
- Experience with Observability technologies and optimizing monitoring using technologies such as Grafana, Dynatrace, and Prometheus
- Deep knowledge of Linux OS, network, and Azure PaaS solutions

- Specific ask - during the video interview, candidate should NOT use headphones or use another laptop or look at a different screen, trying to get answers to the interview questions.
- Team manages the shared Kubernetes platform (PaaS), which serves other projects. Key responsibilities include not just deployment of applications on Kubernetes, but also have to maintain the Kubernetes platform, which includes the life cycle of creation and maintenance of clusters etc.
- Typical DevOps candidates can also apply for this role, if they align to the point mentioned above about the Kubernetes experience required.
- Good communication - verbal and written communication, as the person has to interact with other groups.
- 1 week in a quarter - 24x7 support. Total work hours will not exceed 40 hours per week. Person has to be flexible during this one week period, it can be any 8 hour duration during this one-week period.
- Secondary support needs to be provided if the on-call support person is not available
