Description:

As an Engineering Design Leader at ENTRUST, you'll apply your diversified knowledge of engineering principles across various project assignments. You'll lead our engineering design teams, addressing technical issues on small and medium projects. Your input to Project Managers and technical management will be invaluable, especially when it comes to potential process and design improvements.

Responsibilities:

Maintaining a high level of technical expertise is crucial, and you'll do this by identifying training needs and scheduling appropriate programs. You'll also initiate and maintain extensive contacts with key engineers and officials in other organizations to ensure our practices are consistent with current standards, regulatory requirements, and technological innovations.

You'll lead the training and development of employees, offering technical guidance and training related to engineering design and code compliance. Implementing and monitoring a system of quality control consistent with ENTRUST's policies and procedures will be part of your role, along with performing all other tasks as required.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Experience in construction, utilities, construction projects, and job sites.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, including reviewing drawings for overhead and underground projects.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering from an ABET accredited university or a minimum of 7 years of direct experience.
  • Understanding of California standards (GO95, NESE, etc.).
  • Experience leading and/or reviewing projects.

This is a hybrid position that requires fieldwork in Lake Tahoe, CA.

Benefits & Salary:
  • This position pays $93,600 to $104,000 annually and is an exempt position.
  • Benefits offered include company sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually.
  • Full time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours.
  • May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
