Salary Description
$120,000-$145,000 per year - commission based pay
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the daily operations of the new car sales department.
- Hire, train, and motivate the new car sales team.
- Monitor and achieve departmental goals for volume, gross, and customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate with upper management on inventory planning and vehicle ordering.
- Ensure the accurate desking of deals and proper documentation.
- Work closely with the finance department to ensure a smooth sales process.
- Maintain strong relationships with OEM partners and stay updated on programs and incentives.
- Oversee pricing strategies and advertising of new vehicles.
- Maintain compliance with all dealership and manufacturer policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in automotive sales management.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Experience with dealership CRM/ILM and DMS systems (e.g., VinSolutions, Dealertrack, Reynolds & Reynolds, CDK, etc.).
- Knowledge of current industry trends and OEM programs.
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Valid in-state driver's license and have and maintain an acceptable, safe driving record
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances
- Authorized to work in the United States
