Phillips 66 is seeking a dynamic NGL Trader, MidCon & West Coast to join our Houston office. As part of our Global NGL Trading Team, you'll collaborate with traders and schedulers to unlock commercial opportunities and drive profitability. This role focuses on trading ethane and propane at the Conway hub, optimizing refinery production across the MidCon and West Coast, and expanding our off-hub business beyond our current asset footprint. You'll also play a key role in maximizing the value of our storage assets, elevating our Propane Marketing business, and leveraging paper trading to boost mark-to-market earnings.

The Commercial organization works to effectively leverage assets and market knowledge to create additional value within the risk parameters of the Company. We do this by maximizing general interest profitability, enhancing return on capital employed by successfully partnering with the Refining, Transportation and Marketing functions to ensure Value Chain Integration. Our truck and rail fleets support our feedstock and distribution operations. Rail movements are provided via a fleet of more than 10,000 owned and leased rail cars. Truck movements are provided through numerous third-party trucking companies, as well as through our 100 percent-owned subsidiary, Sentinel Transportation LLC.

Phillips 66 is seeking a dynamic NGL Trader, MidCon & West Coast to join our Houston office. This role focuses on trading ethane and propane at the Conway hub, optimizing refinery production across the MidCon and West Coast, and expanding our off-hub business beyond our current asset footprint. Responsibilities May Include:
- Trade propane at Conway and manage exposure to the Conway index.
- Optimize refinery propane production and grow the off-hub business.
- Maximize Marysville storage value through contracts and partnerships.
- Capture arbitrage opportunities with the Global NGL Trading Team.
- Track and manage P&L to balance risk and profitability.
- Build strong relationships with trading and supply chain partners.
- Shape regional trading strategies and contribute to cross-regional insights.
- Analyze market data to identify arbitrage and optimization opportunities.
- Negotiate and execute deals, ensuring compliance and accuracy in the Deal Capture System.
- Maintain NGL product balances, storage, and logistics in MidCon and West Coast.
- Collaborate with operations for seamless trade execution.
- Provide market insights and reports to senior leadership.
- Serve as a trading representative on IT projects, enhancing systems for deal entry and market analytics.
Required Qualifications:
- Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- Bachelor's Degree
- 3 or more years of Commercial experience in the Natural Gas Liquids (preferred), Natural Gas, or Crude Oil Field (considering this might not be included if evaluating a successful candidate)
- 5 or more years of Energy Industry experience (consideration this might not be included if evaluating a successful candidate)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
