The successful candidate will work with our IT managers, engineers, technicians, and the client to ensure the expectations of both parties are fulfilled in a timely, cost-effective manner.

Description
Key Concepts Knowledgebase, LLC., is seeking a Project Control Specialist for a project at a large government support organization. The successful candidate will work with our IT managers, engineers, technicians, and the client to ensure the expectations of both parties are fulfilled in a timely, cost-effective manner.
The Project Control Specialist responsibilities are as follows:
- Direct all financial management and administrative activities, such as budgeting, manpower and resource planning and financial reporting.
- Ensuring the program is on track, on schedule and on budget.
- Monitor Key performance Indicators from various sections of the program and make necessary recommendations or corrective actions to ensure the project meets the cost expectations.
- Perform complex evaluations of existing procedures, processes, techniques, models, and/or systems related to management problems or contractual issues.
- Provide detailed reporting on issues identified on the program to project manager inclusive of suggestions/recommendations to improve or rectify underlining issue.
- Develop work breakdown structures, prepare charts, tables, graphs, and diagrams to assist in analyzing problems.
- Assist program manager and supporting managers in the daily planning of workflow and supervision of staff.
- Identify areas of program where training and/or new technologies will improve the overall productivity of the program.
Qualifications:
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and can work under tight deadlines.
- Have experience with cost analysis, budget management, accrual accounting and procurement.
- Very good presentation and reporting skills with use of clear data visualization.
Position Requirements
Required:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate very well with users, peers and managers.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, and SharePoint software programs and/or similar tools.
- 4+ years progressive experience as a Program Control Specialist in a federal government IT service delivery operation chartered with large scale, multi-faceted IT support.

Training and Certifications:??
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or Business with 8+ years of experience demonstrated related work experience in a large multi-platform Information Services environment.
- HDI institute certifications

- Must be able to obtain and/or pass a public trust background check. Must be able to work flexible hours and multiple locations.
