Job Description
Job Title: Care Manager
Job Specialty: UR Case Manager/Care Coordinator
Job Duration: 13-Week Contract
Shift: D/E/N Rotating - 8-hour shifts, 5 days a week (07:00 - 19:00), variable start times
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of current experience required in the specialty. At least one previous 13-week travel assignment is required.
License: Valid nursing license
Certifications: BLS certification required and must be completed through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross.
Must-Have:
- UR Inpatient/Acute Care Experience (minimum 12 months current experience required)
- EPIC experience required
- Xsolis experience preferred
Job Description:
- Be a team player, flexible, and accustomed to a fast-paced environment.
- Fulfill department staffing needs with potential for varied shift start times.
- Rotate weekends and holidays as required; travelers are first to float within facility and to alternate locations within 20 miles of the permanent assigned location.
- Position will float to various areas as needed, within the scope of practice.
- Complete orientation in the first week of the contract (not exceeding 40 total hours), including EPIC training.
- Required to wear scrubs; scrubs are not provided by the facility.
- Holiday coverage required.
- Ensure all onboarding information is entered accurately to avoid delays or suspensions.
Note: Travelers must not have been employees of the health system for 12 months from their last day worked to be considered for a travel position. Any time-off requests must be disclosed with the initial application to be considered for approval; requests made after acceptance will not be approved. Complete your application with at least two references (one must be from a current manager), a resume, and a completed skills checklist/competency assessment. No local travelers under a 75-mile straight-line radius will be considered.
