The North America Vendor Program Manager will be accountable for executing a vendor strategy and program that complements Chubb's strategic initiatives and enhances the property and casualty services and products delivered to our customers. In undertaking this function, the key objectives are to embed a vendor program that optimizes client engagement, maximizes the performance of our vendor relationships, establishes defined metrics and service standards, and drives operational efficiency.
The Vendor Program Manager reports directly to the SVP Strategy & Operations Leader and will partner with our Chubb Risk Consulting Global Underwriting Support, Field Leadership, and Business Stakeholders.

The Vendor Program Manager reports directly to the SVP Strategy & Operations Leader and will partner with our Chubb Risk Consulting Global Underwriting Support, Field Leadership, and Business Stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the central Chubb Risk Consulting liaison with both external and internal stakeholders for vendor and contract management
- Own our vendor strategy and drive the execution of our vendor program
- Collaborate with the Global Underwriting Support team and key stakeholders to analyze the current use of vendors and develop future state utilization and continued process improvement to maximize the benefits of engaging vendors
- Manage our Chubb Risk Consulting vendor relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders
- Lead vendor sourcing and contracting initiatives, including competitive bidding, contract extensions/renewals, enhanced scope of service, and vendor termination
- Maintain an in-depth understanding of market and vendor capabilities, and identify new opportunities to improve service capabilities and deliverables
- Establish appropriate vendor performance measures and effectively manage performance results throughout the lifecycle of the vendor relationship
- Partner with our Global Underwriting Support Team and Field Operations to balance cost, quality, and service; drive performance; enhance customer satisfaction; and manage costs
- Manage the identification, recording, prioritization, and resolution of vendor incidents
- Ensure vendor resource capacity during elevated demands of field engagement
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent related work experience required
- 5+ years of technical experience in risk assessment processing for property and casualty disciplines preferred
- 5+ years of professional experience in vendor program management and/or proven success with project management
- Effective communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with Chubb personnel as well as contractors and vendors
- Strong communication and leadership skills with steadfast resolve and personal integrity
- A working knowledge of Location 360 and Chubb systems (i.e., Coupa, Laser, Buy Now) preferred
- A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics; experience communicating metrics to peers and leadership
- Knowledge of Chubb Risk Consulting operations, techniques, loss prevention principles, and key performance standards preferred
- Track record of embracing change and successfully leading teams during times of change
- Ability to travel to service Chubb Risk Consulting teams and support vendor initiatives if required
- Advanced strategic thinking skillset
