Job Description

Main Purpose:

The Regional Key Account Manager (KAM) for Retail Sales is responsible for executing a selling strategy in assigned retail accounts. Successful candidates will manage key customer relationships including negotiating customer agreements that deliver against internal operating plans and customer expectations. Maximize volume and revenue in key assigned accounts by using fact-based selling methods. Activate local and national marketplace initiatives and promotions to build brand development and maximize brand performance. Analyze customer information and business trends using Spins, IRI and Nielsen to identify and expand business opportunities. Work closely with the Selling Operations team to improve overall customer satisfaction. Cultivate strong customer relationships.

Responsibilities:

- Sell and execute strategies for managing and growing relationships with regional key accounts. This includes understanding the unique needs and preferences of each account.

- Drive sales growth by identifying opportunities for increased product placements and distribution within regional accounts. Execute sales strategies, promotions, and incentives to achieve revenue targets

- Negotiate contracts, pricing agreements, and terms of sale with regional accounts. Ensure that these agreements are mutually beneficial and aligned with the company's profitability goals

- Focus on maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction among regional accounts. Address any issues or concerns promptly and effectively to preserve long-term relationships

- Stay informed about market trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activities. Use this information to provide valuable insights and recommendations to both Beliv and the regional accounts

- Work with regional accounts to create accurate sales forecasts, demand plans, and inventory management strategies. This helps in ensuring that product availability matches demand

- Optimize product offerings, including assortment selection, shelf placement, and pricing strategies

- Execute strategic plans for each regional account to maximize long-term growth and profitability. Align these plans with the company's overall business objectives

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or other related discipline

- Four to five years' previous work experience in sales, management, key account management, or relevant experience

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be a listener, a presenter, and a people-person
- Basic computer skills, and experience with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite, with emphasis on superior Excel skills.
- Able to analyze data and sales statistics and translate results into better solutions
- Strong negotiation skills, with ability follow-through on client contracts
- Proven results of delivering client solutions and meeting sales goals
