Summary

The District Sales Director will be responsible for leading the sales efforts in their designated district, developing and executing sales strategies, and overseeing a team of sales professionals. This position requires a dynamic, results-oriented leader with experience in B2B sales, preferably within the construction, utilities, or related industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for meeting or exceeding revenue goals, ensuring customer satisfaction, and growing market share while maintaining strong relationships with key clients.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Sales Strategy and Execution
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth objectives in the Northern California region.
  • Identify new business opportunities, including municipalities, contractors, and private sector clients, while maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts.

Leadership and Team Development
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the Northern California sales team to meet and exceed sales goals.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Client Relations and Business Development
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication, understanding of customer needs, and consistent delivery of exceptional service.
  • Represent Nor-Cal Pipeline Services at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to promote the company's offerings.

Market Analysis and Reporting
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends and competitors.
  • Prepare and present sales forecasts, performance reports, and market insights to senior leadership.


Qualification Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred (or equivalent experience).

Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of sales experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably within the construction, utilities, or pipeline services industries.
Experience managing regional sales teams and driving revenue growth in competitive markets.
Required Skills

Technical Skills:
Proficiency with CRM software and other sales management tools.
Ability to analyze complex sales data and translate insights into actionable strategies.

Interpersonal Skills:
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate a team and build strong client relationships.
Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
Familiarity with Northern California's construction and utility markets.
