In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for new medical devices and components. You will collaborate closely with R&D, design, and quality teams to ensure products are manufacturable, efficient, and meet stringent quality standards.

In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and optimizing manufacturing processes for new medical devices and components. You will collaborate closely with R&D, design, and quality teams to ensure products are manufacturable, efficient, and meet stringent quality standards.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and deliver innovative and cost-effective CNC machining/manufacturing processes for new components including machine, process, fixture, and tooling selection.
- Develop and debug new processes to meet customer and company required process capabilities and company cost targets.
- Represent Process Engineering team and provide manufacturing expertise to overall new product development and operational teams, including quality team, program management team, prototype team and sales team.
- Work with customer New Production Development teams and purchasing teams, providing feedback for design for manufacturability and process selection.
- Develop procedures, proper documentation and create and execute training programs to maintain process control.
- Utilize strong written and verbal communication skills to gain support and report progress to all stakeholders.
Requirements
- 4-year degree in Engineering and 5 years of experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong ability to communicate technical solutions or issues with both external and internal customers.
- Experience in manufacturing environment is required.
- Strong background in metal cutting including CNC machining centers, Swiss lathes, or CNC mill turns is preferred.
- Experience in metal forming is preferred.
- Experience with secondary processes including laser welding, cleaning, passivation, burr removal, electropolish, electrochemical machining or assembly is preferred.
- Experience with solid modeling or 2D modeling software is preferred.
- Experience with process related data analysis and statistical process control is preferred.
