Summary
NPI Sourcing Manager is responsible for developing new parts of electric vehicles PE (Power Electric) System (Motor, Reducer, Inverter, ICCU) Assembly.
As the NPI Sourcing Manager assisting the Senior Manager in the development of new parts of the electric vehicle PE system, your role will be to support project management with suppliers, assist with supplier mold and equipment development, quality improvement, and manage parts quality issues. You will also be responsible for managing supplier capacity and ensuring timely delivery of parts.
The role is responsible for supplier manufacturing capability assessment, Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP), Initial Sample Inspection Report (ISIR), Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) and ongoing continuous improvement of supplier performance, such as: quality, delivery, cost reduction, capacity planning, proactive risk management, etc.

Project Management
- Is responsible for part development and implementations.
- Conducts detailed project plans, tactical execution, schedules in each part project.
- Provides Management overview and reporting on critical project tasks.
- Maintains strong relationship with suppliers, internal and external customers.
- Communicates regularly with upper management including HQ regarding the status of current projects, obtains upper management guidance and approval as required.
Supplier Management
- Leads suppliers to meet the quality requirement during project and program.
- Respond to supply shortages for supplier-related issues.
- Conducts Value engineering for any possible cost savings.
- Suggests ECR for cost reduction, quality improvement, and lean production.
- Is responsible for supplier's ISIR review and approval, supplier quality audit.
- Collects and summarizes documents from suppliers and support HQ, Sales and Customer request.
- Other tasks as assigned.

Basic Qualifications (The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or ability required and preferred for this position.)
Required Education & Experience:
- Experience: 7+ years
- Education: Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS)
- Degree Field: Engineering/Science or Business/Economics, or 5+ years equivalent work experience in Automotive industry.
Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Experience in automotive manufacturing environment
- Experience in SQE, SDE, procurement & sourcing management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical and technical skills
Preferred Education & Experience:
- Experience in Die-casting, Lamination press, Forging, Assembly, Machining, Welding and NVH analysis ETC.
- Ability to understand 2D/3D drawings and knowledge of design tools
- Experience in using ERP system, Quality management system.
- Equivalent Experience / Education: 5+ years of experience in supplier sourcing role within E-powertrain manufacturing/Automotive industry
- Skills & Abilities: Requires understanding of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and proficiency in drawing interpretation.
- Ability to speak and write fluently in both Korean and English
