Overview:

Sentara Obici Hospital, located in Suffolk, Virginia is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.

Premium Rate for Flexi Status
  • $39 for less than 5 credit years
  • $44 for 5 or more credit years


In this role you will:
  • Perform and analyze all diagnostic and therapeutic Nuclear Medicine Procedures.
  • Perform to all quality control and quality assurance standards as prescribed by all state, federal, and local agencies.
  • Provide the best patient care and practice radiation safety standards at all times.


Schedule Available
  • Flexi Status Day Shift: 7a - 3:30p. The On Call/Work combination is 16 hours per a pay period with a total of 32 hours per a 4-week schedule cycle. This includes two weekend On Call shifts.


License/Certification
  • BLS - American Heart Association
  • ARRT(N), ARRT, CNMT, NMTCB.
  • Registry eligible graduate in lieu of ARRT or CNMT. Must be registered within one year of hire.


Education
  • Trade School degree in Radiologic Technology or Bachelor's degree in Nuclear Medicine or related field required.


DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW

Our department performs approximately 12 exams daily and is growing! In 2026 we will be adding SPECT CT. We currently have two cameras; one is for cardiac studies and the second is for general studies. Our department is certified by the American College of Radiology.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$32.13 - $53.55Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
